Last January 14, 2012 the ABL (ASEAN Basketball League) opened its 3^rd Season. The league consists of Eight (8) ASEAN teams namely: Chang Thailand Slammers, Westport Malaysia Dragons, Indonesia Warriors, Singapore Slingers, the newly joined teams – Saigon Heat and Bangkok Cobras and our very own Filipino teams – the San Miguel Beermen and the Air Asia Philippine Patriots. 

The Air Asia Philippine Patriots with its enforced line up led by former PBA standout Rob Wainright as their team Captain and ABL Season 2 Best Import Nakiea Miller will be rallying to bag a second ABL title this season.
